The idea of a festschrift honoring Ignatius Charles Brady, OFM, Prefect of the Tehology Section of the Collegio Internazionale San Boanventura, Grottaferrata, Rome, was born in July, 1974, at St. Bonaventure University during the celebrations commemorating the Seventh Centenary of the Seraphic Doctor's death. Fr. Brady, a lecturer at the Franciscan Institute, received from the Unviersity the degree of Doctor of Letters honoris causa during commemorative ceremonies. He was lauded as one of the world's foremost authorities on the works and thoughts of St. Bonaventure. This is a collection of essays who knew him best.
